Tangier is an old, colourful port town, the closest city of Africa to Europe (ten miles) a place where eccentricity is celebrated, where nomads frolic and expatriates thrive. In the city’s old town, colonial buildings stand next to antique riads, creating a mixture of shapes and colours that change with the light. It is a meeting place of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, Europe and Africa and where the greats, long ago resided.
