Travel Guide | Tangier




Tangier is an old, colourful port town, the closest city of Africa to Europe (ten miles) a place where eccentricity is celebrated, where nomads frolic and expatriates thrive. In the city’s old town, colonial buildings stand next to antique riads, creating a mixture of shapes and colours that change with the light. It is a meeting place of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, Europe and Africa and where the greats, long ago resided.
From our recent trip to Tangier, we share our favourite places to eat, drink, shop and the must do’s, while exploring the cities colourful streets.
